BEEF & DAIRY CATTLE
Caring for beef or dairy cattle requires a substantial commitment to their well-being, including specialized nutrition, housing, and reproductive management. These large animals have unique needs related to their size and production purposes.
EQUINE
Keeping horses happy and healthy throughout their lives requires a significant commitment, similar to caring for a large pet, but with additional needs due to their size and natural instincts.
SMALL RUMINANTS
Raising sheep or goats involves a moderate level of care, focusing on pasture management, parasite control, and basic healthcare. While smaller than cattle, they still require attentive husbandry.
SWINE
Pig farming demands a high level of management, including strict sanitation, specialized nutrition, and careful monitoring of reproductive cycles. These animals have specific needs related to their rapid growth and social structure.
SMALL ANIMAL
While cats and dogs are considered pets, they still require consistent care, including regular veterinary checkups, proper nutrition, and exercise. Their well-being depends on a responsible owner who can provide a safe and loving environment.

Hello! My name is Dr. Sam Altizer, Veterinarian, and owner of New River Veterinary Services. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my clients place in me.
